Our Corporate Advisory Board consists of two people:

Cornelis Brakel
Cornelis Brakel graduated in 1962 from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam, with a degree in Economics. Mr Brakel joined Shell International Petroleum Company in 1964, where he was active in finance management, computer systems and marketing and held positions at various times in the UK, the Middle East, Latin America and the Netherlands. In 1976 he moved to the publishing industry and became Chief Financial Officer and Group Director for the Trade Books division of the Dutch publisher Elsevier N.V. In 1981 Mr Brakel joined the Dutch publisher, Wolters Samsom N.V., as a Member of the Executive Board and, following its merger in 1987 with Kluwer N.V, he became a Member of the Executive Board of Wolters Kluwer N.V. Mr Brakel was Chairman of Wolters Kluwer N.V. from May 1995 until his retirement in September 1999. Mr Brakel has remained active in business and sits on a number of supervisory boards in the Netherlands.

Ruud Hendriks
Ruud is chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) Benelux. Previously, Ruud has been co-head of Sales for Europe (excluding Germany and Austria), Middle East and Africa. He joined GSAM in 2001 as a managing director. Prior to joining the firm, Ruud worked for Vandervliet Wernink, where he was a managing director of Project Development, moving to Rodamco, the property fund of the Robeco Group, in 1980. He was a member of their Executive Board from 1991 to 1996. He then moved to become senior vice president, global head of institutional sales at Robeco. Ruud earned an MA in Private Law from the Free University in Amsterdam in 1972.

Investment Advisory Board
Our investment advisory board includes three highly experienced professionals who each have more than 20 years experience in institutional investment management. Two of them work at large pension funds and the third is employed by one of the largest family offices in the world.
